 *Tejo is a traditional throwing sport in Colombia, invented by the indigenous community inhabiting the small town of Turmeque in the department of Boyaca during the pre-Hispanic times. It was demonised and lost during Spanish colonial rule but has been revived, and is widely played by social groups today.
